WURCES TRAINING «GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE EU AND LESSONS FOR UKRAINE: FROM POLICY DEVELOPMENT TO ITS REALIZATION
On March 18-21, 2019, the WURCES TRAINING «GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE EU AND LESSONS FOR UKRAINE: FROM POLICY DEVELOPMENT TO ITS REALIZATION» took place at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the cooperation with the EU-funded project «Association4you». Training agenda included a range of topics on evidence-based public policy-making, real impact assessment and legal drafting, EU governance and rule of law standards considerations in the policy-making. Special emphasis was put in their implementation in the case of Ukraine The participants from regional and municipal authorities, local self-government, civic society, universities discussed policy-making practices in Ukraine and developed their own policy initiatives. The event was co-organized with the Lviv Oblast State Administration.
CAPACITY-BUILDING TRAINING IN KYIV
On October 16-18, 2018, the WURCES team participated (SRFs Oksana Holovko-Havrysheva, Vaysl Zelenko, Roman Kalychak and Oksana Krayevska) in the certified training Course on Evidence-Based Policy-Making under the Association4you project, which aims to promote the proper implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
The team’s participation was aimed to improve the professional profiles of the WURCES staff in terms of getting experiences in public policy-making issues as well as expertise of the «Association4you» project in the areas of evidence-based public policy-making, real impact assessment and legal drafting in the course of the European integration of Ukraine.
